Stop-action softball!

I never truly appreciated stop-action/sports shots til this past Wednesday.  

I don't know what I like more, the actual action shot or the facial expressions....

it's a toss up!

Composition, composition, composition!

Not only do I LOVE Black & White photography, I LOVE when a photo composition is a lil asymmetrical.  I think the "rule of thirds" is a fantastic guideline to learn for photography.  I think it can bring a more dynamic effect to a photo--than having the object squarely in the middle ((BORING!!))  I love these types of lilies, they remind me of Easter. Happy Composition!

Black & White.

I LOVE Black & White photography. I think it is simply divine, because sometimes I think color can be so distracting from the image itself.  Take for instance, this orchid....  I love the true black and whitest white, with the range of greys.  If you have those three {shades} elements, then you're set! {Thank you to my college photo teacher, for teaching me that.}

New Years Legs.

Yesterday, while standing in line, up a staircase, I had the fortune of staring at these legs.  
I was pretty fascinated by his shoes and socks combination.  
I think you can see why.
